Topic Based Authoring: A Tool Independent Introduction

Course Summary

This course is developed for people who need to create topic–based content, regardless of the tool used to create the content. Learn how to organize your information into topics and identify the components of a well–formed topic. Acquire hands–on experience with creating Concept, Task, and Reference topics and learn how to sequence topics to create multiple flows and outputs.

Course Description

Overview: This one–day course teaches participants skills necessary to create topic–based content. This course is developed specifically for clients requiring users to organize their content into Concept, Task, and Reference topics.

Delivery: An instructor–led, group–paced, classroom–delivery learning model with structured hands–on activities and assignments. Courses are available for private online delivery.

Materials: Participants receive reference materials related to course topics. Follow up support by email or phone, on topics covered, is available to participants for 90 days.

Prerequisites: You must have a solid working familiarity with your operating system.

Duration: 1 day

Fee: $395 ( only available for group or 5 )
