What about Election Day?

The conference spans election day here in the United States, and attendees are expected from many different states (not to mention countries!). Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th in 2008. If you are a US citizen who wishes to vote, we strongly encourage you to arrange an Abentee Ballot with your state. This will allow you to attend the DITA/TechComm Conference without missing your chance to have a say in our next President.

A quick search on Google.com should assist you in locating your state's instructions for long-distance voting. USA.gov is one of many web sites that has information on USA voting.
